About the Artist

Thank you for stopping by my website. I'm Whitney, the artist behind the paintbrush.

I have always been a creator ever since I can remember. Drawing, doodling and coloring were always favorite hobbies of mine as a very young child. Art class was always a top priority for me throughout my grade school career and I graduated high school with a drawing award back in 2004.

I am from Texas and attended college at Texas State University-San Marcos where I obtained my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011, majoring in Communication Design. It wasn't until 2020 when I really got serious about painting and drawing again and decided to start a business. I specialize in portraiture and enjoy creating the human face and emotional expressions as the subject of my art.
